My Welcome

As already mentioned by Pronk, my name is Eugene and I am also a dedicated Cleveland sports fan. Over the years, I've discussed sports all over the internet with fans from many different teams, however, talking about the hometown teams with the fans from back home topple any other discussion. I've developed quite a passion for Cleveland sports, one that will never fade. Despite the Indians, Browns, Cavs, and Buckeyes offering us a lot of hope the past few years, a title to the city of Cleveland has remained elusive. At least there's hope in Cleveland, though. Since the Browns came back in 1999, have we ever been in this good of a situation? We have a legitimate offensive line that helps to drive one of the more high powered offenses in the NFL. With the Cavs, hope will always remain strong, as long as LeBron is still wearing #23 for the wine and gold. The question will always remain, will we ever get some talent around him? There's a lot of discussion now surrounding players such as Baron Davis, Michael Redd, and Mike Miller, however, how much of that is just a pipe dream, or is it actually reality? The Indians are in a sad state right now, the bullpen has fallen apart, the offense shows no consistency, yet the excellence of the starting pitching (well, most of it) remains. Sadly, after a 96 win season and being only 1 game away from the World Series, the next summer we have to ask the question of trading our ace away. The Buckeyes have lost twice in the National Championship, but we're still getting there, and we'll be even stronger next year.

I hope to have gave everyone a slight overview of my thoughts, as I would like to frequently share my opinions. I've known Byrne and Turbo for a few years now and I respect their opinions as well on our favorite teams. Through this blog, I hope we can all share some amazing moments in Cleveland sports history that we'll all be able to share for years.
